Too Much Energy to Hate

It's easy to hate someone who hates you. After all, hatred is a powerful emotion that can easily consume someone.

But I've never been one for hatred. I believe it takes too much energy and effort to hate someone, and life is too short to waste time on such negative emotions.

Instead, I choose to love those who love me. They are the ones who are worth my time and attention. They are the ones who make me feel good about myself, and they are the ones who make me want to be a better person.

So when someone hates me, I don't hate them back. I pity them because they're missing out on all the good that comes from loving others.

Pray For Those Who Hate You (Video)

It's easy to love the people who treat you right. They're the ones who make you feel good, who make you laugh, and who is there for you when you need them.

But it's not always easy to love the people who don't treat you right. They're the ones who hurt you, who disrespect you, and who take advantage of you. They're the ones who make you feel like you're not good enough like you don't matter, and like you're not worth their time.

It's hard to love those people, but praying for them is even more challenging. To pray for the people who don't treat you right is to forgive them, hope for their redemption, and believe they can change. It's a prayer of hope and a powerful act of love.

Love Thy Enemies (Video)

One of the greatest commandments is to love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. This includes not just those who behave unfairly towards us but also people in general because they too might need prayer one day (Matthew 5:44).

One way we can show this kindheartedness with others is by doing things like forgiving them when needed or offering peace-filled thoughts instead, even if someone's done something wrong against us before!
